Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Pin and Complete (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the mobile game available on iOS and Android. We respect your privacy, design our systems to minimize personal data, and act on deletion requests promptly—even though the data we hold is anonymized.
Data We Collect (Anonymized)
We strive to avoid collecting directly identifiable personal information. Our game collects only:
- Gameplay events (e.g., level attempts, scores, session length, feature usage).
- Device & app metadata (e.g., OS version, device model, app version, language, timezone). Stored in a de-identified form.
- Notification preferences (opt-in status, topics, and delivery analytics such as sent/opened). No message content profiling.
- Crash and performance diagnostics when essential to improve stability (de-identified).
How We Use Data
- To operate core game features and keep services reliable and secure.
- To understand feature performance and improve levels, balance, and UX.
- To deliver optional push notifications you request (events, tips, reminders).
- To detect and resolve crashes, bugs, and cheating.
Push Notifications (Firebase)
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) solely to send game-related notifications. You can opt in or out at any time via your device settings or in-game controls (where available). Our own infrastructure manages topics and schedules, but we do not attach identifiable personal data to notification tokens.
iOS users can change notification permissions in Settings → Notifications → Pin and Complete. Android users can manage this in Settings → Apps → Pin and Complete → Notifications.
Data Retention
We keep anonymized gameplay and telemetry data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, typically on a rolling basis with aggregated analytics. If you request deletion, we will delete or further de-identify relevant records associated with your device identifiers (to the extent we can reasonably locate them).
Your Rights & Deletion Requests
Even though we store data in de-identified form, we honor privacy requests. You can ask us to:
- Delete de-identified records associated with your device/app installation.
- Access a summary of data categories we hold.
- Opt out of notifications at any time.
To submit a request, email us at support@mypincoarchary.xyz. We may ask for non-personal technical details (e.g., app version, platform, approximate install date, a device-generated ID shown in settings) to help us locate your de-identified dataset.
GDPR/CCPA: We design for data minimization and do not sell personal information. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us. Where laws require, we act as the controller for the app’s operational data and use processors under appropriate terms.
Children’s Privacy
Our game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect our infrastructure and the de-identified data we store. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve safeguards and limit access to authorized personnel.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our game or legal requirements. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via store updates where appropriate.
